So today is the big date...I guess Jude is technically "Full Term" today. I am excited about the possibility of him coming! Selfishly I am hoping for sooner than later, but I guess he will decide when he is going to come. Rosie (Kevin's mom) told me that she had Kevin 3 weeks early, which would be today. Kind of weird to think about it, but exciting. I have to say that I have been blessed to have a great pregnancy! Just in the past few days has it totally switched to being tired all the time, not feeling that motivated and just wanting to lay around (although that is not really an option)...is that normal? Please tell me that you felt that way too so that I don't feel like a totally silly head!
Well, my mom finished most of his bedding and we decided that since the house got pushed back 10 days that we would clean out Kevin's temporary music room and make it into Jude's temporary nursery! It was quite a task getting some of the things put together. My Mom and Dad came over to help us move some of the stuff to our "temporary storage unit - aka my parents rent house". Then they stayed to help us get some of the items that we hadn't had space to put together assembled. So, Jude now has his bassinet, crib with awesome bedding, swing, bouncy seat and changing table/hutch! Then we got the call that the glider that we had to special order because no one makes one that is black on black had come in. So Kevin went to get it and we put it together too! Now we only have the ottoman that needs to arrive...but the chair is the most important part!!
It is a weird feeling that no one really tells you about...the whole waiting in anticipation of the arrival of your first baby! We are totally excited and can't wait!!
Well, I hope that you are all having a great day!

Update on Baby Jude!
It is 35 weeks tomorrow...yeah! Only a few more weeks to go and then we will have the arrival of Baby Jude. We can hardly wait! We had our "growth sonogram" on Monday and our doctor's visit. The sonogram said that he was right at 5 lbs and around 17 inches long as of now. She said that he should gain around 1/2 lb a week until his due date which would put him around 7.5 lbs if he waits to come and see us until August 16th. The doctor said that everything looked good and said that we would see her in 2 weeks. So, I think that we will not be having induction or anything as long as everything is still good...no high blood pressure, no excessive swelling and no complications...until his due date.
That is the really fun thing...you have no control on when your baby will come and see you! Kevin and I are anxious to meet him!! Not to mention the fact that I have reached the uncomfortable part...but, that is okay...not too much longer!!
Well, I just thought you might want to see what Jude looks like right now...he was very actively "sucking" while we were having our sonogram done. He is so sweet!

Okay...here you go! Pregnant Christie!
Okay...so I have heard from many people requesting to see how big my pregnant belly is...so, here are some pictures for you. I think that I have finally broken through to the "pregnant look".
These are about a month old. I will try and take some this weekend that are closer to my current date of 34 weeks tommorrow!!
Cabinets, Doors, Trim and Closets!!
This step has seemed like it has taken the longest. They came and put all the cabinets in and that was so excited. You could actually see where stuff was going to end up in the house...and it made such a big difference in the kitchen area and living room because of all the cabinets, islands and the infamous "cubes" I requested. Then after such a major change, they had to put up all the doors...which seems like an easy task, but takes a LONG time. Then they have to trim everywhere...again something that seems to take a LONG time. And lastly, the closets...they add shelves and hanging rods, etc. But, the good news is...they are pretty much done with this phase and they should start painting on Thursday...TOMORROW!! YEAH!!

Bricking!
The bricking is almost finished. We are using a "Jumbo Brick" which is like 5x10 instead of 3x10 which is the regular size. The jumbo bricks are the grey/white bricks...and then we are using a gray swirly brick that is darker grey and has a little black in it. They also are using really dark almost black mortar to make those bricks look even darker. Then we have some grey stone on the front, I don't know forsure that we have a picture of the stone in the collection, but I will definitely get one on the site soon! It is crazy because it is really starting to come together!!
