Yeah...the day is here...Jude has not one tooth, but two!! They are so cute...

This is the best I could do to make him show them to me...

And this is from our photo session where he showed them proudly...more great pictures to come!!

Oh, sorry...the camera....

Yes, the camera that we bought is the Canon Rebel XTi with both lenses...it is awesome!! We actually bought it at Wolf Camera and they gave us some great free stuff to go with it...hopefully I will become a better photographer too...

Anyway, let me know if you have any questions and I would be glad to answer or ask my husband the human google of cameras...

Happy Anniversary to us!

Happy Anniversary Kevin!

Thursday, the 27th marked 4 years with my hubby! I can't believe that it has been 4 whole years. This year was a great year in our lives together, we started our family with the addition of sweet baby Jude who has been a joy beyond all that we could imagine and we moved into our new house! You might want to skip if you don't want to read some sweet notes to my hubby. Kevin, thank you for being such a great husband and leader of our household. You always seek the Lord's guidance for our lives and help us to stay on the right track. You are so wonderful to me and supportive of all the new tasks that have come up this year. You love me no matter what and I can't tell you how much that means to me. The coolest thing about this year is to see how great you are at being a father to our little Jude, who just happens to look just like you. It is such a neat experience to see how much he loves you and loves to spend time with you. You are such an awesome Dad and are SO helpful to me!! I love you and can't wait to see what this next year brings...let's hope for Hawaii to celebrate year 5! I believe!!

Happy St. Patrick's Day!

Again, I know that we are late posting...but Happy St. Patrick's Day! I don't know what it is about this day, but I love it. I love finding a fun shirt for the day and this year GiGi found this sweet one for Jude and I found the massive bib to match. That is a tip for all new mom's...ALWAYS buy the bib that matches if you have the option! It is worth it and then you always have a bib to match during the drooly days...which is everyday right now. Oh yeah...and check out the sweet socks that GiGi got us too! So cute. We also got a cute shirt from Aunt Jamie...pictures to come!

Funny Jude!

So my Mom (GiGi) spent lots of time making these great bumpers for Jude's bed...they are AWESOME!! And now that Jude has become more active, he has decided it is fun to pull them off an play with them instead of taking a nap. I had removed them all for a week or so, but then just missed them, so I put them back on the bed hoping that he forgot about how to pull them offf...not the case. This is him...not taking a nap!

Winter Snow in Texas

Yes! It snowed here...it has been a little while since it happened, but I just couldn't pass up the opportunity to post these cute pictures of Jude in his first snow!!

Jude's wall art!

Yeah! One thing off the list of things to accomplish at the house! We have been wanting to get Jude's Logo painted on his wall. We had Brad from Red Gate Studio come and paint it for us. Brad goes to our church and has done some really great things. He also does great texturing and affects to the wall. It looks great...here are progress pictures.

Blank blue wall

Texture already on the wall, Logo transparancy on the wall.

Black complete.

ALL DONE!! YEAH!

Way to go Kelli!

I know that this post is a week late, but I just got all the pictures to put up here! My friend Kelli and her husband Patrick ran in the half marathon at Cowtown last weekend. My BFF Vanessa, Jude and I went to go support her and our other friend Lori that ran the FULL marathon. I didn't really know what to expect because I had never been to a race of any kind. We got up and ready and downtown at 9ish, then had to find a parking spot, then had to find a place near the end of the race. We waiting for quite awhile before we got to see Kelli and Patrick. It was pretty cold when the sun went behind the clouds, but it was one of my favorite days this year. First of all, it is always fun to spend a whole day outside with friends and family, and other than it being cold, it was so beautiful downtown. Second, my little Jude was a superstar that day and did such a great job of hanging in with us. Third, I was so proud of the accomplishment that Kelli, Patrick and Lori made. They trained for months and accomplished their goal!! Lastly, I was really inspired by all the different people running the race. There were so many of them and they were young to old, I mean people in there 70's running the Ultra marathon...which is like 30 miles. They are all different sizes, tall, short, skinny, not so skinny. And they all had a story...at the last .1 mile of the race the runners family members or children would run with them to the finish line. It was like the coolest thing ever. That is what I was most inspired by, the stories of all those people. I have always wanted to run and at one time I had a goal of running a marathon. Being at the race really inspired me to get started doing something...no, I probably won't run a marathon, but maybe a 1/2 or even a 5 or 10K someday. It made me think, what is my excuse for not getting this done...and most of all it made me think about the day that I could run to the finish line and Jude could help me finish and hopefully he would be as proud of me as I was of all those amazing runners that day!
